In Reply To shellac will still allow the plugs to be removed in the posted by aliaZ on December 13, 2013 at 11:12 AM

Message I used the z31 water pump gasket to avoid using the RTV material for it. And sadly I used so little on the oil pan that my oil pan is leaking and needs to be re-sealed.

I had to remove the engine after my first install because I had installed the plugs without any sealant and they were leaking. When I had the engine out for the second time I ended up just using the prematex rightstuff. I don't think I could have cause any issues, but I guess it's to late to worry about it now. I used the slightest amount so I don't think it's something to lose sleep over it. Next time I will use shellac.

I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!" (Having a conversation about hail damage) - BradZ (FL) on March 25, 2005 at 9:56 PM

Tell your friend that you could take a dump, light it on fire and that would be hotter shit than his car. Probes suck, that's just all there is to it. - 300ZXpert (someday) on April 04, 2005 at 11:35 PM
